Meadow

“Meadow” followed “The Toad and The Mushroom” and was a more mainstream sort of rock group performing largely original material in 1972 and '73. “Meadow” consisted of John Neff on guitar, keyboards and vocals, Danny Hazelett on lead vocals and trumpet, Tim Craft on lead guitar and vocals, Andy James on bass, and Larry Bellehumeur on drums. In this time, John was a session guitarist and synthesist for the non-Motown Detroit Soul Rhythm section, “The Company”. He also toured with that section which was expanded into a Soul Revue, backing up many vocalists and vocal groups.
